The York County Aging Services Commission meets six times a year to review programs and services provided through Aging Services Office on the 2nd Wednesday of each odd month.  Commission members advocate for needs of older adults and helps assure the development of the continuum of care within communities.

The Commission consists of at least ten (10) voting members appointed by the York County Board of Commissioners. Non-voting participants may be selected by the YCAS Commission for the purpose of increasing the constructive dialogue on topics before the Commission.

At least three-fourths of YCAS Commission members shall be fifty-five years of age or older and all shall be residents of York County.  To the extent reasonably practicable, members shall consist of persons representing government, business, religion, education and senior citizenry, and to the extent possible, representing the various geographic areas of York County.  Members shall be selected either for their interest, leadership, special knowledge, and/or experience in community aging services.
